If you’re on this page, Emmy herself has invited you to be a part of the street team. That means she thinks you have what it takes - to help her launch this course!

BRIEFING:

WHAT IS A STREET TEAM?

WHAT IS THE MISSION OF THIS PARTICULAR STREET TEAM?

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO BE A MEMBER?

We have three challenges, with more coming as we lead up to the big launch of the course on Monday, September 15.

Challenge #1

PLAN SQUAD

This challenge has three steps:

1. Join Emmy in an online Zoom Street Team meeting. We will introduce ourselves, brainstorm activities, and get pumped up about getting to word out about The 5-Week Phone Fight.

2. Do some deep thinking about who you know who you could connect Emmy with that can help spread the word. We’re talking: podcast hosts, educators, people who work in TV news or radio. Then make the connection.

3. Forward an email to anyone you can think of who might be interested in fighting phone addiction.*

Online Recruitment

This challenge has three steps:

1. Post a video talking about your excitement about the course on social media or just about your excitement that Emmy teaching a course.** (**If you are not on social media - mad props to you! Instead, you can send a video of yoruself talking about the course to Emmy assistant and it will be used on the Fight Your Phone website.)

   PRIZE: A STICKER PACK!

IRL Magic

1. You will receive 25 postcards in the actual mail. Address and mail those cards out. Postage will be provided if you need it.

2. You’ll also receive 50 business cards to leave at local restaurants, coffee shops, anywhere they let people put tiny stacks of business cards.

3. You’ll get some sidewalk chalk and a few tiny, laminated QR code lawn signs. You’ll make some street art by writing a message about fighting phone addiction and stick the lawn sigh nearby. You’ll record the process and post about it on social media (if you partake, you you are not on social media see step 3 above).

   PRIZE: A FYP MUG!

WE GOT MERCH! You get prizes for completing challenges. For some challenges, you send Emmy’s an assistant a photo as proof. A few challenges are social media specific (‘cause we’re tyring to reach people where they are - but if you donlt have social media, we’ll give you alternates so you can still get the prizes.) You’ll also get your own personal QR code and link to refer people, so if someone you refer buys the course you get your choice of all the merch in the store.
